Pre-planting operations
These are activities carried out on the cucumber farm before planting is done, this is also called land preparation stage. These activities includes;
• Selecting a suitable site

Cucumber planting operations
These are management, planting process or all activites carried out on the field during planting.These activities includes;

These are activities carried out after planting. These activities includes;

• Suppling
• Watering (irrigation)

Thinning: Is the removal of weak, extra or disease seedlings from a stand, thinning is done two weeks after planting.

Suppling: Is the replanting of ungerminated stands.
Mulching: The process by which dead plant materials like dry grasses leaves, saw dust etc are used to cover the soil to protect it from sun's intensity.

Harvesting operations.
This is the removal of the useful parts of fully matured plants for consumption or sale.
Post harvesting operations.
These are activities carried out after harvesting your cucumber on the field and they inciude the following;
